This is a great way to add a rustic, barn style look to the outside of your home in a simple way. These cedar barn style shutters are the perfect finish to your outdoor window treatments.
Hand selected Cedar, a naturally decay resistant wood, is the preferred choice for this application. Straight and light in weight, nothing matches the performance of Cedar. Semi-transparent and solid color stains are an excellent finish option. When painted, a good quality, fast drying, oil based primer should be used. Left unfinished cedar will silver and remain maintenance free for years. I do offer an all natural sealant called SoySeal that can be applied as well.

The turnaround time is subject to change at any time and in the event that this happens, you will be notified. We accept cancellations within 24 hours of purchase, so please plan accordingly. After the 24 hours, there will be a re-stocking fee. The re-stocking fee amount will be calculated from the total purchase amount and the percentage is dependent on the production stage of your order.

No. The floor of the planter comes slightly slatted to allow for drainage. However, additional drainage holes can be added (just let us know).

Sealant is an all-natural, non-toxic and eco-friendly soybean sealant we use to treat our planters. It helps prolong the longevity of the planter and protect it from the heat and cold. It goes on clear and dries clear.
We suggest keeping it covered and/or bringing your planter indoors.
We accept cancellations within 24 hours of purchase. After the 24 hour grace period, your order has been accounted for. If you still wish to cancel, there is a re-stocking fee of 25%-50% of your purchase total. The fee is dependent on the stage your order is in.
